On September 21, 2023, Riau Islamic University hosted an inspiring career briefing event, themed “Starting a Successful International Career”. The event was made even more special by the presence of an eminent resource person, Rudy Miwallie Amien, ST, who explored the successful path of an international career as a Regulatory Affairs Manager.

A total of 106 participants, who were prospective graduates from various faculties, came eagerly to gain valuable insights on how to start and succeed in an international career. Rudy Miwallie Amien, ST, provided an in-depth look at the challenges and opportunities that may be faced by professionals aspiring to an international career.

“Riau Islamic University has always been committed to providing holistic education and career preparation for our students. This activity is an important event to hear first-hand the experience of Rudy Miwallie Amien, ST, and gain insight into the importance of preparation in entering the international workforce,” said Dr. Desy Mardianty, SE.MM, head of UIR career center.

Aside from being an enlightening session, this event also opened concrete career opportunities for the alumni. Bank Mandiri participated in this event by opening a direct recruitment, providing an opportunity for participants to immediately submit job applications and start their journey at one of the leading banks in Indonesia.
